Family Advocacy

A program of the Cherokee Child Advocacy Council Inc.

Family Advocacy

Upon referral to the Anna Crawford Children’s Center made by Law Enforcement, the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), or the District Attorney’s Office, non-offending caregivers and their children will be assigned a Family Advocate. Family Advocates are typically the first face families will see at the Center to help guide them through the systems and processes included as a part of the investigation. Family Advocates are trained to provide ongoing crisis intervention, resource connection, and support to you and your child.
