Forensic interview services are available in English and Spanish, all interviews are at no charge.

What is a

Forensic Interview?

A forensic interview is one where information from a child is obtained in an objective, unbiased, developmentally and culturally sensitive manner. The forensic interview is conducted in a legally defensible manner by someone who has received specialized training in the area of forensic interviewing of children. Each forensic interview is digitally recorded and is observed by involved investigative team members from a separate observation room. Frequently, the forensic interview recordings are played during various legal proceedings, such as hearings and trials. Upon completion of the forensic interview, the multidisciplinary team makes recommendations regarding the child’s need for medical and mental health treatment.
